International Symposium Atmospheric and Ocean Optics. Atmospheric Physics

The Symposium has been held since 1994. It involves research papers in the following fields:

  • Molecular spectroscopy and radiative processes in the atmosphere.
  • Optical radiation propagation in the atmosphere and ocean, including nonlinear and adaptive optics.
  • Remote active and passive sensing of the atmosphere and ocean, including inverse problems of image and signal processing.
  • Optical investigations of the environment and climate, including simulation of atmospheric processes.
Traditionally, the Symposium program includes papers concerning basic problems of optics, applied investigations of the atmosphere and ocean by optical methods, physical aspects of the studied processes, and improvement of experimental instrumentation.

Starting from 2001 the Symposium involves the section devoted to atmospheric physics.
