The XX Symposium on High Resolution Molecular Spectroscopy

General Information

The series of High-Resolution Molecular Spectroscopy Symposia have been organized by the Institute of Atmospheric Optics SB RAS since 1972. The series was held in Russia and was known as "HighRus". The first ten symposia were called the all-Union Symposia on High Resolution Molecular Spectroscopy. From 1993 (Volga river, Moscow - Nizhny Novgorod - Moscow) HighRus became an International Symposium.
A brief history of the Symposium was outlined in the Preface to the HighRus special issue of JQSRT (2010, 111/15).
The proceedings of the Xth (1991), XIth (1993), XIIth (1996), XIIIth (1999), XIVth (2003), and XVth (2006) symposia were published in the PROCEEDINGS of SPIE as volumes 1811, 2205, 3090, 4063 , 5311, and 6580, respectively.
The proceedings of the XVIth Symposium (2009, lake Baikal) were published as an electronic scientific publication and a special issue of JQSRT (2010, 111/15).
The proceedings of the XVIIth Symposium (2012, Zelenogorsk, St. Petersburg region) were published as an electronic scientific publication on the symposium website.
The proceedings of the XVIIIth Symposium (2015, Tomsk) were published in a special issue of JQSRT (2016, 177).
The proceedings of the XIXth Symposium (2019, Nizhny Novgorod) were published in a special issue of JQSRT.

     The Online Registration and Abstract Submission are now open. You can also complete our fill-out-form which available in the Extra Info section and send it by e-mail to the Scientific secretary (highrus@iao.ru).

     The Organizing Committee started the preparation of the official letters for getting Russian visa. To issue an official invitation for a visa, you need to contact Evgenia ARBATSKAYA  (arbatskaya.evgenia@istu.edu) from Irkutsk National Research Technical University.
     Documents required for issuing a visa invitation:
- A scanned copy of the passport of the invited citizen (the passport must expire no earlier than 6 months from the date of the requested visa).
- Application form for issuing a visa invitation - filled in by a foreign citizen (available in the Extra Info section).
     Depending on the citizenship of the invited person, the invitation is issued either on the official Irkutsk University letterhead (5 days) or by contacting the Russian Migration Department for the Irkutsk region (40 days).
     In the questioner for visa in the line "Itinerary" you should indicate all cities you would like to visit according your travel itinerary. For example: Moscow-Irkutsk-Tomsk-Moscow.
     If you plan to come to Russia with an accompany person(s), please, send to Evgenia the corresponding form for each person.
